Book Review: "Take Back Your Life" Devotional by Levi Lusko + Giveaway

I regularly receive devotional books in the mail to review, and sometimes they seem to be a bit same old, same old if you catch my drift. They take verses out of context, provide a very shallow, surface-level commentary of the text, and don’t seem like anything I haven’t already read before.

Levi Lusko’s new devotional, “Take Back Your Life: A 40-Day Interactive Journey to Thinking Right So You Can Live Right” is not at all like that.

I thoroughly enjoyed “Take Back Your Life” and its emphasis on the importance of right thinking. We are shown throughout Scripture the crucial importance of taking every thought captive, of putting on the full armor of God (which includes the belt of truth!), and of meditating on truth.

In Levi’s devotional, he equips us to do just that through 3-4 page devotionals, reflection questions, and assignments at the end of each day. He shares powerfully from real life occurrences, the most heart-breaking and impactful one being the death of his daughter and all that the Lord has been teaching him since that tragic loss.

If you are wanting to grow in your walk with the Lord, your ability to take every thought captive, and your fight against the enemy, the father of lies, you will want to get your hands on this book!
